✍️ Description from the real estate agent

Located in the picturesque Lecrín Valley in the province of Granada, this beautifully restored rural boutique hotel enjoys a peaceful natural setting at the foot of the Sierra Nevada National Park. Surrounded by landscaped gardens, mature olive trees, and mountain scenery, the property is approximately 500 meters from the nearest village and less than a 20 minute drive from both Granada and the Costa Tropical.

Originally a 16th century flour mill, the property has been carefully restored and renovated to preserve its historic character and traditional architectural features. The original millstones remain visible in the restaurant and garden areas, reflecting the building's heritage. The estate comprises approximately 1,430 m² of built space on a 20,281 m² plot, including 339 m² of terraces.

The hotel accommodates up to 36 guests across 14 individually decorated double bedrooms, including seven junior suites. Each room features a fireplace, private bathroom, and Smart TV with internet access, with direct access to the gardens through a semi-open corridor. The property includes 17 bathrooms and 18 restrooms.

The hotel's restaurant serves international cuisine with a Spanish influence, offering inviting indoor dining spaces and an outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens. Two fully equipped kitchens, a bar, laundry facilities, and several storage areas support the property's facilities.

A traditional Hammam, located within the hotel's inner courtyard, provides a tranquil space for relaxation. The landscaped grounds also feature a private swimming pool with Roman steps, an outdoor jacuzzi beneath a centuries-old olive tree, a solarium, and several terraces positioned to enjoy the surrounding scenery, sunrise, and sunset.

The extensive gardens are connected by winding pathways leading between the accommodation, communal spaces, and dining areas. A separate garden annex serves as a library, while additional facilities include a games room, an organic greenhouse, a vegetable garden, and ample private parking for hotel and restaurant guests. A nearby irrigation channel, which historically powered the flour mill, adds to the property's distinctive atmosphere.

The estate also benefits from a recently installed 15 kW solar panel system, air conditioning, fireplaces, and built-in wardrobes. The predominantly flat grounds include landscaped green spaces, tropical plants, fruit trees, and olive groves.

Adjacent plots totaling approximately 16,000 m² are included within the estate. These feature an olive grove with around 100 centuries-old olive trees, two wells, and a pond. The upper sections contain traditional agricultural buildings, former stables, and a designated parking area for campervans. The additional plots have their own well water supply, currently used primarily for irrigating the olive trees.

The hotel's location offers convenient access to the traditional villages of the Lecrín Valley, the Alpujarras, and the Sierra Nevada region. Granada's historic center, home to the Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, is less than 20 minutes away, as is the Mediterranean coastline of the Costa Tropical. Both Granada and Málaga airports are accessible from the property.

Combining centuries-old architecture, comfortable guest accommodation, landscaped gardens, and extensive leisure facilities, this fully operational boutique hotel offers a distinctive countryside retreat in one of Andalusia's most scenic regions.
