This charming hotel-restaurant, housed in a building dating back to 1910, is located in the heart of the Parc des Volcans d'Auvergne, at the crossroads of the GR4 and GR30 hiking trails. The area offers a wide range of activities including hiking, cycling, skiing, visiting medieval towns, and enjoying a large nearby lake suitable for swimming or canoeing.

The property measures approximately 1,260 m² and features a lovely garden and terrace, along with three barns that can be converted into additional living space. The hotel currently has 21 bedrooms, some of which are used as private living quarters by the owners.

Upon entering the hotel, guests are welcomed by a lounge with a pellet stove and TV, a small library, and an inviting bar offering a wide selection of beers, wines, and liquors. A charming restaurant complements the property, tastefully renovated while preserving its original style from the late 19th century, when it served as a waiting room for the Relais de Poste. It is classically decorated with understated elegance. Guests can enjoy the large terrace or the beautiful garden, which includes a courtyard and the three barns. The property also includes private parking.

All hotel rooms have been renovated and are spacious and comfortable, equivalent to a 2- to 3-star standard. Unlike standardized chain hotels, much of the furniture was sourced from flea markets and garage sales, making each room unique. Bath linen in the standard and superior rooms is of the same high quality used in luxury hotels (600 g), while the economy rooms are equipped with slightly lighter but still premium towels (500 g)—you’ll want to take them home! Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in all rooms.
